About Us

Started as an informal group providing community service via playing Robert Kiyosaki's highly acclaimed board game, CASHFLOW® 101, in mid-2001, this informal group has grown considerably in size and knowledge without a single cent of funding.

While many other groups tried and perish, pure passion driving us to make friends, promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship kept the group surviving until today.

Over the months, the group has also incorporated the advanced version, CASHFLOW® 202 and a local-based financial board game, F.Q.® or Financial Quotient.

In line with our mission to making friends, promote financial literacy and entrepreneurship, a decision was thus made to set up a website to establish an online presence. We call ourselves VIX.

Taken from the roman letters (V - five) and (IX - nine), VIX symbolizes the international off-office hours.

In today fast changing world where information and knowledge are created, modified and made obsolete in an instance, the idea of a 9 to 5 job with a high salary seems totally irrelevant. What you studied in school for years often becomes obsolete before you even graduated.

We spent decades to prepare ourselves for a job. And your job often constitutes only a small position in a company. When people wanted to start their own business (and create jobs in the process), how much time do they prepare themselves? One year, two years? Ever wonder why 9 out of 10 business fail? Statistics speaks for themselves.

The mindset of getting a job and starting your business is a total shift. What you learnt in school doesn't prepare you to start a business. It only trains you to look for jobs.

What VIX can offer to prepare yourself is through a series of innovative activities such as seminars, workshops, boot camps etc.. The skills you learnt will dramatically equip yourself to handle the world of business. This is not a guarantee though, just as a crash helmet doesn't prevent an accident, it merely increases your odd of survival should one arises.

What you do from 9am to 5pm determines your survival. What you do from 5pm to 9am determines your dream.
